High Risk Obstetrics

Dr Kennedy is trained to manage both normal and high risk pregnancies. After commencing training in Tasmania, Dr Kennedy went on to complete his training at the Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne. Monash Medical Centre provides tertiary level maternity care, a pregnancy assessment unit and a fetal diagnostic unit. This gave Dr Kennedy invaluable exposure to complex and high risk pregnancies.
Menopause

Whilst a small percentage of women sail through the menopause with barely a symptom to speak of - this is often not the case. Dr Kennedy is able to discuss with you the various options available for alleviation of menopausal symptoms and help you decide which solution is the right one for you.
Advanced Gynecology
Management
Gynaecological exposure throughout training and beyond allows Dr Kennedy to be able to provide management for many conditions including heavy bleeding, contraception, thorough assessment of PAP smear abnormalities, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, fibroids and other issues.
Dr Kennedy spent an extra 12 months training in urogynaecology in addition to regular training which gave him invaluable surgical experience and a continuing special interest in the management of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. Dr Kennedy has also developed a special interest in the assessment and management of vulvar and pelvic pain. Warren works very closely with pelvic floor physiotherapists in order to provide a team approach to your urogynaecological or pain issue.
